THE CRAFT

Every Riddlum piece is cast metal. Brass, bronze, zinc alloy, stainless steel, finished in antique patina or mirror polish depending on what the shape wants. They have weight. They are cold when you pick them up. That matters more than it sounds.

Some come apart. Some come undone. A few open. None of them do what you first think they will do.

A solution sheet turns a puzzle into a chore with a spoiler attached. So we do not ship one. What you get is the object, the difficulty rating, and the knowledge that it definitely comes apart, because we have done it.

If you are truly stuck, write to us. We will give you one nudge, and only one, and only if you ask twice.

Interlocks are solid things that separate. Burrs, geometric knots, cast forms that look like they were machined from a single block.

Entanglements are two pieces caught in each other. They were never joined, only trapped, and the exit path exists the whole time.

Vaults keep something. A lock without a key, a compass that will not turn, a box with no visible seam.

Five tiers, from Moderate to Master. The rating is about how long the wrong ideas hold out, not about strength or dexterity. Nothing here needs force. If you are forcing it, that is the puzzle telling you something.

Moderate is an evening. Master is one puzzle in the whole collection, and most people do not finish it.

The pieces are made to order in small batches with metal casting workshops we have worked with since 2025, then finished, checked and boxed here. Batches are small on purpose. When a puzzle sells out it usually stays out for a few weeks.
